About Us

Our History

Gwinnett Lions was formed in 2015 by merging the Gwinnett Griffins rugby club and the Gwinnett Rugby International Touring Squad(G.R.I.T.S) into a single division 3 rugby club in Gwinnett county.

We have competed in several tournaments since then including battleship rugby tournament in Mobile Alabama,  St. Patrick’s Day Rugby Tournament in Savannah Georgia, Hotlanta 7s rugby tournament in Atlanta, Pitch-A-Tent rugby tournament near Chattanooga, TN amongst other tournaments.
